Check out our channel to see why we had our kids play rec soccer, club soccer, and in our local Latin leagues to foster creativity. They trained with Luis Dabo at Santos, Alex Hernandez, and Diego Walsh for several years.
As a Paralympian and 2-time world record holder in the wheelchair 100m, who has played a role in developing multiple D1 soccer players in the United States, including two back-to-back Arizona Gatorade Players of the Year, I knew that club soccer, because its over-the-top parents, was focusing too much on winning over development with 6 and 7 year olds. My wife, who has her PhD in Educational Psychology, knew it, too.
We had to get creative ourselves, using famous clips from RUclips, including Madin’s “Next Ronaldo” videos and Hassan Ayari’s “Little Messi” videos, to teach our kids ball familiarity. Our kids had a blast trying to copy them. They even made their own videos. We are happy to have helped so many kids in our community, and around the world, for free.

Tuzos Academy 05 - Tuzos Challenge 2021 (Highlights)

Some highlights from the start of the season, the Tuzos Cup, which Tuzos won. This was a tough tournament, though. One of their teammates was murdered right before it. The funeral was the day before the tournament or something. The kids worked hard, though, to come together in the face of adversity. And despite having a lot of injuries after that, they continued to play great all year.

First time playing games (mainly as an 8) since the pandemic began. One day was so hot that it was almost like playing in Phoenix. Everybody had blisters, but it was a lot of fun!
Julian's first classical piece on piano: Schubert's Marche Militaire

Julian learned Schubert's Marche Militaire when he was a little kid. Schubert is still his favorite composer. With the curfews coming on the heels of the quarantines, Julian thought that this was the perfect thing to play for nostalgia's sake!

Julian has always loved this song ever since he saw it on Jojo's Bizarre Adventures. He used to play the bass part on his classical guitar when he didn't have his bass available. Julian wanted to play both instruments in this video, though.

Greensleeves was the second piece that Julian learned on classical guitar (Spanish Romance was the first). When Julian first learned it, he thought that it was pretty cool that he was learning to play something mentioned in Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives of Windsor."

Julian started to learn drums last year, but he just switched to right-handed drums a few months ago.
